The NIH symposium on lymphatics was a wonderful experience! The meeting gathered the best lymphologists from around the globe, and reaffirms the fact that we are all trying to understand the same complexity of lymphatic system.
The organizers assembled a broad array of stimulating talks and it was great to learn the discoveries from different areas of lymphatic research. A number of talks left a lasting impression; they were interesting and somewhat provocative. The symposium spanned two days and had covered the role of lymphatic system in many organ systems and disease model. Talking with someone during the break, who studies lymphatic system in different disease model, helped me to look at my work from a different perspective.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the meeting. I would like also to say a special thank you to the organizers at the NIH for their hard work and to LE&RN for their continuous support of young investigators.
