Understanding Lymphedema, a talk with Catherine Holley, RN, at Massachusetts General Hospital

An estimated 10 million people suffer from lymphedema in the United States alone, but many individuals go undiagnosed or untreated. Lymphedema is chronic swelling in your body that occurs when your lymph system is damaged or blocked. This swelling is usually in your arms or in your legs.

Join Catherine Holley, RN, to learn about primary lymphedema and secondary lymphedema. She will discuss how you can best manage ths condition.

Featured Speaker: Catherine Holley, RN
Catherine is an operating room nurse at Mass General Hospital. She graduated from Duke University and has been a nurse for 35 years in the Boston area. Cathy has had secondary lymphedema for 33 years and is passionate about educating others and spreading awareness about this incurable disease. She is co-Chair of LE&RN's Massachusetts State Chapter.
