You’re invited to celebrate World Lymphoedema Awareness Month at Macquarie University on Wednesday 27 March, from 5pm - 7.30pm, for the Australian Lymphoedema Education, Research and Treatment (ALERT) Symposium.

At this informative, engaging and interactive symposium we will hear from:

Our Director, A/Prof Louise Koelmeyer, who will give an overview of the ALERT Program and innovative research partnerships
An ALERT patient, Jayne Eagleton, who will share her personal story of living with lymphoedema
Our Plastic Surgeon, A/Prof Thomas Lam, who will share ALERT’s multidisciplinary decision-making process and the three surgical options
Our Clinic Co-team Leader, Asha Heydon-White, who will speak about translating ALERT’s research innovations into effective clinical practice methods
Dr. Debbie Geyer, who will provide an update on the initiatives of the Lymphoedema Association Australia
The symposium will conclude with a Q&A session with our panel of experts.
