Amplifying Stories, Empowering Voices

Toronto, Canada - March 6, 2026

Change begins when we listen, share, and amplify the voices of our lymphedema community.

This year, the CLF is celebrating World Lymphedema Day with the theme: “Amplifying Stories, Empowering Voices.” At the CLF, we believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, educate, and connect. Through our magazine, Pathways, we provide a platform for personal stories: from people living with lymphedema, from loved ones supporting someone with the condition, and from health professionals who care for those affected.

Lymphedema affects approximately 1.25 million Canadians—that’s 1 in 33 people. While more common than many realize, it can be an isolating and emotionally challenging condition. Pathways reaches readers across Canada and around the world, helping to amplify the voices of those affected. Sharing these stories is crucial: it fosters connection, reduces feelings of isolation, and reminds people that they are not alone.

Join the global lymphedema community in raising awareness, promoting education, and providing or participating in opportunities for interaction for patients, family members, and health care professionals concerned about lymphedema.
