In commemoration of World Lymphedema Day,VELS School of Physiotherapy,in collaboration with Sringeri sharada Equitas Cancer & Multispecality Hospital ,Chennai,TamilNadu,India organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Cancer-Related Lymphedema.
The program aimed to educate and empower young physiotherapy professionals by enhancing their knowledge on the comprehensive assessment and physiotherapeutic management of cancer-related lymphedema. The session provided valuable insights into current rehabilitation approaches and highlighted the critical role of physiotherapy in improving the quality of life of cancer survivors.
Such initiatives play an important role in strengthening clinical knowledge and encouraging evidence-based physiotherapy practice in oncology rehabilitation.
