INAUGRAL WORLD LYMPHOEDEMA COMMEMORATION KENYA 2026

An awareness campaign, early detection,education on need for multidisciplinary approach and role of physiotherapists in proper management of lymphoedema being the goal. kenyatta national hospital will be hosting the first ever lymphoedema celebration in Kenya in collaboration with Physiotherapy council of Kenya and other national hospitals within Kenya. This event will include an awareness walk, lymphoedema screening, education and advocacy. This initiative is being spearheaded by a certified lymphoedema Therapist in Kenya Janet Mwau. We welcome all Kenyans to celebrate with us this ground breaking event.
