“Lymphedema Awareness and Early Detection in Kenya: An Evidence-Based Community and Clinical Educati

Mombasa, Kenya - March 4, 2026

World Lymphedema Day in Kenya brings together patients, clinicians, and communities to raise awareness about lymphedema and lymphatic diseases. In partnership with LE&RN, this initiative promotes early diagnosis, reduces stigma, and expands access to education and care. Activities include public health talks, free limb-screening events, and professional training for therapists and nurses. The campaign highlights the importance of early intervention, Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), and community support to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by lymphedema across Kenya.
