Lymphedema Community Outreach & Education Event
Join us for a welcoming community event focused on increasing awareness, education, and support for individuals living with or at risk for lymphedema.
This outreach event is open to patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about lymphedema and available treatment options.
Throughout the event, short educational sessions will take place every hour between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM, allowing attendees to arrive at the time that works best for them and still receive the full educational overview.
Each session will cover:
• What lymphedema is and how it develops
• Common risk factors and early signs to watch for
• Treatment options and the role of compression therapy
• Daytime and nighttime compression garment solutions
• Insurance coverage and how patients access care
• Available local resources and fitting services
In addition to the education sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with compression specialists, view garment options, and ask questions about treatment and coverage.
Space is limited and registration helps us prepare materials and seating for attendees.
Light refreshments will be served and raffle prizes will be drawn every hour.
This event is designed to create a supportive environment where individuals can learn, ask questions, and connect with others in the community.
