World Lymphedema Day
Bradenton, FL
We have a few things scheduled:
1. Sock-it-to-Lymphedema: Our team will be wearing crazy, teal-colored socks over 1 pant leg to engage and educate staff and patients about lymphedema.
2. Our hospital ER, Manatee Memorial Hospital, will be lit up in the Teal color for the week.
3. We will create brochures (Talking Cards) “What My Lymphedema Therapist Taught Me”, that will be made available at the Nursing Units on each floor and in the Doctor’s Lounge
4. Hand out Teal Ribbons to patients and staff at our outpatient clinics.
