NYS Resolutions Aimed At Increasing Awareness To Be Adopted March 6
Connor Looby, LE&RN's Youth Ambassador, will be honored on March 6 when a resolution bearing his name will be read and adopted by the New York State legislature. A separate resolution, formally recognizing Lymphedema Awareness Day, will be read and adopted as well. New York State Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal, who was instrumental in the success of both of these resolutions, has also supported Assembly Bill 8456, which would create a lymphedema and lymphatic diseases research grants program. We thank Assemblywoman Rosenthal and the New York State legislature for their leadership in bringing lymphedema and lymphatic disease education, advocacy, and research into the spotlight.
