Lymphedema & Lymphatic Disease Matters, News from LE&RN, December 2019

Harvard Lymphedema Patient Symposium videos released

In September, LE&RN joined forces with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital to present the Harvard Lymphedema Patient Symposium. Video of this extraordinary event has just been released. (LE&RN Celebrity Ambassador Cam Ayala is shown above, delivering the keynote speech.)

Many LE&RN supporters made the trip to Boston, but whether or not you were in the room to witness patients and the medical community coming together in our shared battle against LE and LD, we urge you to take some time to watch these inspiring presentations. Please share them with family and friends via email and social media. Then, make your year-end donation to LE&RN. It is your commitment that can ensure that events that have the power to produce real and transformative change can continue as we head into a new decade.

Thank you, #GivingTuesday fundraisers and year-end donors!

This year, thanks to extraordinary participation on Facebook, LE&RN had more donors and raised more money than on any previous #GivingTuesday. We thank all those activists who made this success possible. There is still time to make a tax-deductible donation to LE&RN before the year is out. And take a moment to learn about other tax-advantaged ways to give. With your support, we look forward to a bright 2020 filled with progress as we continue the fight against LE and LD.
