DENVER, CO – May 25, 2018 – Join the Colorado Chapter of the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) for the second annual Colorado Run/Walk to Fight Lymphedema & Lymphatic Diseases; just register or donate at While LE&RN marks 20 years of fighting lymphedema (LE) and lymphatic diseases (LD) on behalf of the estimated 10 million Americans and 170 million worldwide who are fighting this Lymphedemic®, the LE&RN Colorado Chapter celebrates the 2nd year of this successful and inspiring #LymphWalk.

This year’s speaker is Allyson Hannah, born with primary LE in her left leg. Raised in Colorado, she is excited to speak and advocate for LE/LD in her home state. Allyson graduated this past December from Colorado State University with a degree in Sociology and minors in Spanish and International Studies. After a semester in Peru, she has become an avid traveler and wants others with LE to know that they too can live an active lifestyle. Beyond traveling, Allyson enjoys yoga, painting, attending local shows, volunteering in the community, and telling everyone how to manage LE/LD in order to live a full life.

Neika Rosenberger will sing the National Anthem at the start of this year's Run/Walk. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to sing our National Anthem at the LE&RN Colorado LymphWalk, and to be involved with such an important and too-often-ignored cause, fighting LE and LD," Neika said. Neika has a BA in music from Colorado College and can often be seen performing with Opera Theatre of the Rockies and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. When not performing herself, she enjoys teaching young people to perform, including her son, Jude.

A 2018 LE&RN Impact award will be presented to Klose Training at the event.
