HOT OFF THE PRESSES!!!! We have just received word that both the Massachusetts State Senate AND House of Representatives have signed and passed resolutions recognizing March 6 as World Lymphedema Day! This is an amazing achievement for our Chapter, LE&RN and is a significant step in educating our state politicians about lymphedema and lymphatic diseases.
The MA Chapter raises awareness and celebrates World Lymphedema Day with the illumination of the Zakim Bridge in teal. The Zakim ‘Teals’ the Show on World Lymphedema Day!
None of these activities or accomplishments would have been possible without the commitment, passion and time of so many people – patients and care providers alike. We have a lot to be proud of as March 6 approaches!!
