CHRONIC EDEMA AND LYMPHEDEMA: A growing problem in Canada.

You are warmly invited to Montreal, Quebec on October 27-28 for a bilingual conference co-hosted by the Canadian Lymphedema Framework and the Lymphedema Association of Québec, in association with the McGill University Health Centre and Concordia University. Healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and community leaders will gather at the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal to learn from experts in lymphedema research, diagnosis, treatment and self-care. This collaborative event will bring together a national and international audience to strengthen the discussion of lymphedema care in Canada. You are invited to come and learn from an extensive roster of speakers and workshop leaders. They will present key topics related to chronic edema and lymphedema: obesity, lipedema, pediatrics, self-management, exercise, compression, measurement, skin care, surgery, wound care, psychosocial and clinical services.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

A 3.5-hour pediatric lymphedema interactive workshop. This will be an opportunity for all lymphedema therapists and clinicians to collaborate and share best practices.
A full day community nurses training module. This French workshop should interest nurses interested in prevention and treatment of lymphedema.
