About the presenters

Denise Adams, MD

Dr. Adams is director of the Comprehensive Vascular Anomalies Program, a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary program that seeks breakthrough treatments and cures for children, adolescents, and young adults with rare, life-threatening tumors and malformations. She is also co-director of the Comprehensive Vascular Anomalies Frontier Program.

Kimberley Steele, MD, PhD

Dr. Steele was named the Director of the Adolescent Bariatric Surgical Program, Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Bariatric Research and Innovation and the Director of the Surgical Simulation and Education during her tenure of 14 years at Johns Hopkins. Recently, she stepped away from her day job and joined the Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham's Disease Alliance (LGDA), as Director of Patient-Led Research. Her goal is to put her clinical & research skills together with her experience of being a mom of a child with a #RareDisease.
