About the speaker: Leslyn received a masters degree in occupational therapy from San Jose State University in 1998 and began studying lymphedema the same year. She was a graduate of Klose Norton Training & Consulting in 2000 and became LANA-certified in 2001. She has started four lymphedema therapy programs, two in private practice. Currently, she is the owner of Central Coast Lymphedema Therapy in San Luis Obispo, CA. She has lectured nationally on issues regarding lymphedema and private practice. Leslyn is currently the President of the Board of Directors of Enhancement, Inc., a non-profit organization working for the quality of life for breast cancer survivors and provider of networking conferences for lymphedema therapists. She is also a founder and volunteer coach of the Central Coast SurviveOars, a dragon boat team for women cancer survivors since 2007. She became a certified mastectomy fitter in 2010.
