About the speaker: David W. Chang, M.D., is a professor with tenure and the deputy department chair in the Department of Plastic Surgery, director of the Center for plastic and reconstructive surgery, and director of the The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Chang specializes in complex microsurgical reconstructive surgery in cancer patients with primary clinical & research focuses in breast reconstruction and restoration of extremity defects such as lymphedema. Dr. Chang has one of the most extensive experiences in microsurgical treatment of lymphedema and is considered a world expert and a pioneer in this field. Dr. Chang has been named to Best Doctors in America every year from 2001 to 2012.  Dr. Chang has over 100 publications and has been invited to lecture at over 80 symposiums and meetings both nationally and internationally and to give over 40 visiting professor lectureships in 25 countries.
