About the speaker: Kathy Park, JDPSN Kathy began practicing Zen in 1999. She served as director of the Cambridge Zen Center in Cambridge, MA, during which she helped establish the Harvard Women’s Center Meditation Group and the Harvard Zen Buddhist Group. She received inka (authorization to teach) in 2016 in the Kwan Um School of Zen and together with Andrzej Stec, they are co-guiding teachers of the Seoul, Gangnam and Daejeon Zen groups in South Korea. Kahty is also the abbot of Kwan Um Zen Online, the global online platform of the Kwan Um School of Zen where online Zen meditation programs are offered 365 days a year. Andrzej Stec, JDPSN After receiving a Master of Architecture in his native Poland, Andrzej met and became a student of the late Zen Master Seung Sahn. Andrzej received inka (teaching authority) from Zen Master Seung Sahn in 1998 and has been teaching in Europe, the United States, and Asia ever since. He developed Mantra Walk, emphasizing practice that integrates with an active daily life to develop our wisdom and to maintain optimal health in mind and body.
